The Margate Project X OSE
Organised and facilitated by OSE Associate Suzy Crothers and Adam Foster of The Margate Project, The Margate Project X OSE is an online collaborative workshop between The Margate Project and Open School East, inviting local artists to respond to the notion of HOME. Beginning with an introduction to the ideas and philosophy behind The Margate Project, collaborators will then be introduced to some of the games and exercises that they use to generate new material.
During this online workshop, collaborators will have the opportunity to hone and develop some of the material they’ve generated and are invited to take part in an informal sharing to close the session.
This is an opportunity both to make something from scratch and to learn more about The Margate Project ahead of the next iterations of the project in Spring/Summer 2022.
Throughout the workshop you will work with professional facilitators—testing different creative tools and exercises (drawing, writing, storytelling) to unlock your ideas and thinking. You do not have to be a ‘professional’ artist. We welcome all creators, writers and artists of all backgrounds and disciplines to participate, explore, create and connect.
