Open School East relies on contributions from public and private funders, as well as individual supporters and patrons, to both develop and deliver our programmes. Vital donations ensure that we can continue to support emerging artists of all ages whilst engaging new communities in the arts.

It is crucial that Open School East continues to exist to ensure the role of future, diverse artists through high quality and leading arts education, and to grow a truly diverse and accessible arts ecology in the UK.

Without Open School East we are at risk of emerging artists from diverse, lower-socio economic backgrounds not being trained and represented in the arts sector. We strive for quality and ambition in the work that we do and the artists we serve.

Another strand of our work is embedding high quality and ambitious programmes within the places we live and work. Enabling long term access to the arts for future generations and communities to experience and collaborate on high quality and ambitious work.
