S l e e p w a l k s #1
Through a series of workshops and interactions, we invite participants to explore the potential of applying fiction to familiar places.
Using fiction as a tool to uncover the hidden lives of objects and our seemingly mundane surroundings.
Hosted by Open School East associates and guest artists, writers and theatre practitioners. Together we will navigate the tenuous intersections of fact and fiction, create subversive narratives to question supposed truths and summon inner worlds through encouraging slippages in reality.
Working with professionals from various fields we will practice methods of script writing, performance, set building, and animation to deconstruct and rebuild the spaces that surround us.
