Margate is a Playground
We spent the first term of the year using our bodies, voices, and immediate surroundings to create playful sights and sounds. These were then used as material for the exhibition, Margate is a Playground, where we collected our work together to create a fantastical version of Margate. To keep us cool, calm and collected during this mammoth task of redesigning our town, we also set time aside each session to practise simple moving meditations and relaxation techniques. Programmed by Louis Palfrey and Emily Whitebread.

We then considered what types of buildings we would want to populate our new town and why.
