Crude Dialogue: A writing workshop in two parts with Sally O’Reilly

Writer Sally O’Reilly publishes and distributes text in conventional and expanded forms, from art magazines to performance lectures to opera. Her book The Body in Contemporary Art was published by Thames & Hudson in 2009 and her monograph on Mark Wallinger is published by Tate in February 2015. She has also curated and produced numerous exhibitions and performative events and was writer in residence at the Whitechapel Art Gallery (2010–11). She is currently writing a novel, Crude, about academia and the oil industry, as well as an opera libretto, The Virtues of Things, which will premiere at the Royal Opera House in May 2015.

The second workshop will be held on Friday 13 June, 1.30pm-5pm. It is preferable that visitors attend both workshops, if possible.
