Kathryn Tovey

Kathryn’s work explores how space can function as a living body, finding ways to turn the room into a body, and understanding the body as a room.
Carry Me
Using materials such as paper pulp, ceramics and photographic processes in unconventional ways, Kathryn creates humorous and ironic interventions. The work uses Carolee Schneemans ‘Parts of a Body House’ as a departure, alongside the consideration of having spent the past couple of years during covid within a confined domestic space.
