Camille Biddell

Camille Biddell is an artist and potter who uses clay to find alternative forms of relation, conversation and exchange, by exploring contemporary rituals and forgotten traditions. She incorporates traditional pottery skills with sculptural and relational processes.

For How to lift heavy, Camille presents both an invitation to participate in a throwing project, and a series of ceramic sculptures. These dis/functional objects imagine a future barbeque in clay, drawing on memory and reimagining historic vessel-forms.
