Give Ground is part of Off Season 2026.

Give Ground is an invitation from Open School East’s current Associate cohort and studio holders to explore our working spaces — from the top-floor studios to the garden.

Join us for a day of dispersed activities, gathered across a collaborative noticeboard, a publication, and interventions scattered throughout the building.

Together, we present research and works in progress that respond to this year’s theme, Home is where the garden is, and reflect our shared artistic inquiries into civic space, materiality, and site-specificity.

Give Ground is developed in collaboration with artist and researcher Hugh Nicholson.
