A collaborative film made by OSE Associates and Despacito Art School (ages 5-12+) with guest artist Camilo Pachón over a series of workshops exploring the mask as a technology of self, connection and community. During workshops Associates and Despacito worked with card, paints and natural waste materials to make their own creature, masks, costumes and group flag. This film, edited by Pachón, relates to his longer-term project Carnaval Digital, which was initially established to share hope, connection and life-joy during the Covid Pandemic. For Pachón, Kindling the Inner Light is about recognising ourselves as powerful and transforming creatures, with innate creative potential to transform the world.
