This year the Bad Vibes Club Reading Group is open to anyone who would to attend. We are focusing on one book for the reading group, occasionally taking breaks from it to read shorter texts.

Our main reading for this year is Critique of Cynical Reason, a book by the German philosopher Peter Sloterdijk, which discusses philosophical Cynicism and popular cynicism as a societal phenomenon in European history. A pdf of the entire book can be downloaded by clicking this link.

The reading for this session is chapter 2 and chapter 4, skipping chapter 3. It’s ~90 pages in total.
